Octopus on Wall Street

Original graphic by Jinksy for In Tandem #14
Octopus*
crawls up to Wall Street
escaping
predators
squirting black ink on faces
of bosses in banks.

Secure tanks
will not hold them back,
they’re mobile,
colorful
with problem-solving skills - plus
no rigid structure.

Speeding up -
army of mollusks
on the march;
keep the watch,
capitalists on trial -
October 15th.

  2. Yes it seems 'People Power' has jumped the Atlantic from Northern Africa and is questioning whether the bastion of laissez-faire Capitalism is serving its people well.
Maybe the time has come for an end to The People serving the economy when the economy should be serving The People!

  3. I'm not sure what to make of this movement...I am trying to figure it out though.
